It was a wonderful 16th Knowlton Literary Festival!
Thank you to the authors and interviewers who graced the 2026 Knowlton Literary Festival with your presentations and conversations: Whit Fraser, Paul Workman,
Tanya Bellehumeur-Allatt, Jennifer Chevalier, Shari Lapena,
Lesley Richardson, Lyse Doucet, Louise Penny,
Michael Posner and Roger Williams.
And thank you to Svens Telemaque who presented to students at Heroes Elementary in Cowansville, and

Knowlton Academy in Knowlton.
Thank you to the audiences; some local, some from away, some new, and some 'frequent flyers!'
And thank you to our volunteers who make it all come together year after year. Happy reading everyone!

Our Honorary Patron
A message from Louise Penny :
Since its birth, more than a decade ago, the Knowlton Literary Festival has attracted hundreds of great writers, from poets, to playwrights, from writers of fiction and non-fiction, crime fiction (Yes!!) and books for youth. Thousands have traveled to Quebec, to enjoy the beautiful setting and stimulating conversations. It is where geography and culture meet. I am so very pleased to once again be the Honorary Patron of this great festival, and to welcome you all to the place we choose to call home.
