A town map with the festival venues is highlighted BELOW

Knowlton is a village, and speed limits are slower than in a larger city. Please take care around schools and in the downtown core.

The town also has a few construction sites that can create delays. The most notable is the bridge on Victoria street which is being rebuilt. As a result there are detours, with increased bicycle and vehicle traffic. Please take care.

You are in the country... enjoy being part of our community and life at a slower pace!

Walking between Brome Lake Books and the Auberge Lakeview Inn takes about 15 minutes, and there are sidewalks.

Walking from the village centre to the Communiuty Centre is not recommended. There are two routes from the village centre to the Community Centre and both have major construction projects blocking walking routes or making them unsafe. Therefore we recommend people drive to/from the Community Centre to the village centre.

@ Brome Lake Books:

  • There is limited parking behind the bookstore at 45, ch. Lakeside.

@ Auberge Lakeview Inn:

  • There is also a large parking lot at the back of the Inn.

Thursday evening, on October 16, 2025, at the Brome Lake Books Local Authors event, there will be some complimentary drinks/nibblies. Please help us keep the bookstore clean by being respectful of where you place empty glasses and garbage.

Friday evening, on October 17, 2025, at the Brome Lake Community Centre Festival Opening Reception, there will be  wine and nibblies in the Lobby. Food must be consumed in the lobby, with the exception of water bottles. No food is allowed in the auditorium.

Saturday October 18, at the Brome Lake Community Centre, at all Author events, food must be consumed in the lobby, with the exception of water bottles. No food is allowed in the auditorium.

Saturday October 18 evening, at the Auberge Lakeview Inn Music event, there will be a cash bar and snacks for sale. These can be consumed in the concert room.

You cooperation in keeping all of our venues clean is greatly appreciated.

There are washrooms at the Community Centre and at the Auberge Lakeview Inn. They are open for use during event times only

Public washrooms are available in the village core (Theatre parking lot and at Douglass Beach) and at various restaurants.
